RocketShip was founded by Jerad Sorensen in January of 2016 with a focus on helping businesses simplify shipping through strong carrier relationships, practical technology, and responsive service. In 2024, Jerad partnered with Chris Serrano to combine Chris’s third-party logistics and fulfillment experience with Jerad’s carrier relationships and technology platform.
Since joining forces, RocketShip has experienced significant growth and expanded its capabilities to provide a more complete range of shipping, fulfillment, technology, and logistics solutions. By bringing these services together under one organization, RocketShip helps customers reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and find solutions tailored to their specific operational needs.

Jerad Sorensen founded RocketShip, where he leads strategy, carrier partnerships, and business growth. With 20+ years in parcel logistics, eCommerce shipping, and supply chain management, he and his team have built Rocketship into a trusted shipping partner, helping businesses cut shipping costs, run more efficiently, and put smarter carrier strategies in place.
Before starting RocketShip, Jerad held leadership roles at major parcel carriers and helped launch shipping programs for large 3PL providers. Over his career, he has managed billions in parcel spend and negotiated agreements with carriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and Amazon Shipping, building shipping solutions for everyone from fast-growing eCommerce brands to Fortune 500 companies.
Jerad likes pairing an entrepreneurial mindset with deep industry know-how to solve tough logistics problems and build partnerships that last. Outside work, he spends time with family, explores new business ideas, and keeps up with trends in logistics, technology, and eCommerce.

Jerad Sorensen
PRINCIPAL
Chris Serrano brings more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a primary focus on eCommerce, third-party logistics (3PL), and fulfillment. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership roles in sales, logistics, and supply chain operations, helping businesses scale through innovative and efficient logistics solutions.
Since becoming Managing Partner at RocketShip in 2023, Chris has played a key role in leading carrier partnerships, strategic partnerships, technology integrations, and warehouse fulfillment initiatives. His passion is helping businesses overcome operational challenges by developing customized solutions that reduce costs, improve technology, and optimize fulfillment processes. Chris believes every business is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to solving logistics challenges.
Before beginning his career in logistics, Chris proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and commitment to service that continue to guide his professional approach today.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and getting out on the golf course whenever he can. He values building lasting relationships and is always open to connecting with fellow professionals

PARTNER
Roger Jackson brings more than 20 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and business management. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Adams State University and an Executive MBA from Brigham Young University. His professional background also includes extensive experience in information technology, with more than 10 years leading software development and technology teams.
Roger enjoys combining business strategy, technology, and operational experience to solve complex problems and help organizations grow. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, spending time with his wife and family, and continually learning new skills and exploring new ideas.
